GRT Connect Card
TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. "GRT Connect" and "Program" refer to "Privilege Points Program" which is owned by GRT Hotels & Resorts operated through its properties in various cities across India. 2. Membership and benefits of the Privilege Points Program are offered at the sole discretion of GRT Hotels & Resorts. 3. "Points" means credit given to a Member's Membership number for utilizing the services or facilities offered by GRT Hotels & Resorts network as specified in the program from time to time. MEMBERSHIP ENROLLMENT 1. Any change of information as provided in the Enrollment Form must be notified to the GRT Connect Members Cell in writing (address given at the back of this brochure). 2. All communication must be addressed to the GRT Connect Members Cell at the mailing address given at the back of this brochure. It is the responsibility of Members to supply any changes in their mailing address. All communication will be deemed to have been received by the Members, and GRT Hotels & Resorts bears no responsibility for communication not received or lost in the mail or courier. 3. GRT Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to add, modify, delete or otherwise change any of the rules, conditions, benefits, rewards or reward levels pertaining to the Program at its sole discretion with or without notice even though changes may affect the value of points or rewards already accumulated. 4. GRT Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to terminate membership of any Member who appears to be using the Program in a manner inconsistent with the Terms and Conditions or intent of the Program or any portion of the Program, including but not limited to, reward redemption. GRT Hotels & Resorts also reserves the right to discontinue membership of any Member who acts in a manner inconsistent with local or state laws, statutes or ordinances. Discontinued membership may result in the loss of all accumulated Points, and cancellation of all rewards, benefits and privileges. 5. The membership entitles Members the right to earn Points, which can be redeemed for rewards in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the GRT Connect program. 6. All interpretations of the Program rules shall be at the sole discretion of GRT Hotels & Resorts. 7. Each Member is responsible for remaining knowledgeable as to the Program rules and as to the number of Points in his or her account. GRT Hotels & Resorts will attempt to send correspondence to Members to advise them of matters of interest, including notification of Program changes. 8. Any Member requesting replacement of their lost GRT Connect card can get a new card from GRT Hotels & Resorts at cost of Rs.100/- within 3-4 weeks of receipt of their request. 9. To earn Points, a Member must be a registered Member of the Program and meet all conditions as described in the Terms and Conditions. 2. Members will earn Points for every Indian Rupee spent on eligible charges only at GRT Connect Members Cell. 3. Points can be earned / redeemed at all authorised GRT Connect Members Cell. The GRT Connect Members Cell can be contacted for any queries. 4. Any Points offered in conjunction with a specific facility will be considered earned when the facility has been fully paid for. 5. All applicable taxes & duties such as Central, State or Local will be omitted for the purpose of calculating Points accrual. 6. Any fractional Points earned will be truncated to the nearest integer. 7. If a Member has not received Points for any transaction made through the GRT Connect Card he or she must submit a written request for such credit(s) to the GRT Connect Members Cell together with a legible copy of the Invoice received at the time of a particular transaction. Failure to supply adequate and unaltered documentation may result in denial of such Points Credit. For the Member's protection, he or she should retain all receipts until the Points Credit has appeared on his or her Points Statement. Requests must be received at the GRT Connect Members Cell within six months from the date of activity. A written request must also include the Member's name, membership number, mailing address and daytime telephone number. 8. In case of any dispute or difference between parties in connection with the program, the same shall be decided by an arbitrator. The arbitrator shall be the CEO of GRT Hotels & Resorts or any other person nominated by him. The arbitration shall be conducted in English and as per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The venue for the said arbitration shall be Chennai. The Courts at Chennai will have exclusive Jurisdiction for any other purpose. 9. Program validity is 5 years from the date of first issue of GRT Connect privilege card. Points accrued will be valid for one year beyond this period. 10. The Points Statement will be sent thrice a year. 11. 6 months membership and minimum of 500 points is required for First redemption. For subsequent redemptions, a minimum of 100 points is required. 12. Redemption vouchers will be rounded off to the nearest multiples of 5. The vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. Any purchase made over and above the redemption voucher amount should be paid for by the member. 13. Members must carry their GRT Connect card while availing of any service of the properties, so that points may be credited to their privilege card. 14. Points can be redeemed only if the member presents the redemption voucher along with his / her membership card. 15. The Program is governed by the Terms and Conditions mentioned herein or communicated to the members from time to time and is subject to the laws of the Republic of India. 16. GRT Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to add, modify, withdraw or delete any of the rules, Terms & Conditions of the Program with or without any prior notice.
